This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Phil Melfi who was born in United States on December 27, 1968 and passed away on November 6, 2007 at the age of 38. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

´´My name is Filippo Luigi Melfi. My outlandish aunt Mary in Brooklyn always told me I was descendant from a prince of a town called Melfi, Italy. I just always believed her.
I am half Italian, and half Irish English Scots and French on my mothers side. I favor my father and look like I belong on a spaghetti sauce jar sometimes.
I am crazy (in a good way) 5’7” and I have a home here in Las Vegas.
I am funny and I have a strong self esteem. I know what I want and thus far have had little resistance from the world in getting it. I have been limited in my past relationship by a woman a bit too shy for my personality and wasn’t allowed to be me. It was even though because she wasn’t her either. I am not needy or clingy; there is too little time for that. I want someone insane about me because I deserve that kind of love.
The best date for me is popcorn and a movie on my couch and a great kiss goodnight...
I don’t want a nagging or yelling woman in my life that is unhappy with her and doesn’t know what she wants or needs to do. I am looking for a warrior princess, a partner and a completer with an eye on the brass ring and the skills to rip it down. I have been blessed to have had a very good past few years financially and am playing the game at an entirely new level despite the current state of the internet and the economy. I want to retire wealthy in a few years and enjoy myself in moderate lifestyle and consult startup companies who want to do the same. Life is hard sometimes so there is no time to waste with what doesn’t work.
I enjoy going to the police pistol range with my pistol playing with my two huge German Shepards. I like driving on trips to nearby destinations and flying to beautiful places when the time permits. I am an excellent cook and can make a spaghetti sauce that will make you slap your mom!
I like collecting DVD movies and watching them when I am free.
I work a lot but when you own your own business you have to. I need a woman with a very high libido and a willingness to keep up with me in return I will give my entire heart and anything I am asked for within reason… most especially my total loyalty and devotion. ´´

´´This is my recipe. there are many like it but this one is mine. take the time to read it if you wish.
If it is you or you think it can be you then wonderful, if not I hope you can define what you want as clearly to someone.
I want someone to be my lover, my mother, my confidant, my mistress and my business partner and my porno star. She must enjoy long hot showers equally as much as multi-tiered deep philosophical conversations that will by definition not have resolutions.
My woman would be cool as hell, in the middle of a bank robbery, on either side of the tellers window.
She will have range and depth goals desires and ambitions. I need a James Bond girl with patents pending in DC, and her first round of VC capital in T bills earning 8%. She will have a warm mothering heart, and a look that will instantly forgive all of my stupidities and shortcomings, as I will forgive hers.
She will quote Tsun Tsu and Adam Sandler, glibly from memory, with equal accuracy. She will cry like I do when they bring in the four white horses at the end of the Princess Bride; and also feel the loss of Joe Pesci in Goodfellas, consoled only by the knowledge that it really had to be that way... she will understand Glenn Garry Glenn Ross but not root for Alan Arkin so much as sympathize with him.
She will want to stay home and order a pizza and still look equally stunning in a dress atop the Stratosphere without bitching about the short notice or slow service.
She will announce what she may not know, and want to learn from those who do with sincerity and earnest.
I want someone I can fail with and will still love me mercilessly even if I am poor and penniless. I want someone who gets excited when I have success and with lit eyes makes me go get more. I want a believer. I want someone who can take control, execute the right plan, and give back the wheel unspoiled and worth having, ready to grab it again should there be a need. I want a woman who won’t change me or try to make me better, without trying that crap on her first and succeeding hugely. I want a woman who wants me to come first, but still stays so hot that i can come second and third too, alternating as needed until sunrise. The odds are this woman does not exist.
My perfection is as yet unattained, in fact it never will be. Life is measured by how we make the journey. (how deep!)
The good news is that I never cheat, I never lie and I love with all my heart.
I am a catch.
I want a woman who asks herself "who is this f@#$%* guy" and when she really learns, she can then shout answer to the crowd. She will defend my honor and feel totally safe in my arms. I want a woman who can be famous and not let it go to my head. I want to play Sega with my girlfriend and I want her to kick my ass. I want this woman to know how moving too quickly or too slowly can hurt.
When we hit it and really make it I want to disappear to a cabin somewhere and live like a recluse.
Then I want to walk back in to Caesars palace and put a dollar on black.
